Trip Building
I will build a custom proposal for you for an upfront fee of $250, which includes one round of revisions. Any further revisions may require additional payment, depending on the scope.
Trip Reservations
I will book your hotel, activities, and restaurant reservations. Please note that I do not book airfare.

How long does the process take?
Next, we will set up a call to discuss your trip in more detail. Once I have that information, it typically takes one week to 10 days to build out your proposal.

How much do I charge?
I charge $250 to create your initial proposal, which includes one round of revisions. Additional revisions may require additional payment, depending on the scope.

How am I paid outside this fee?
Travel agents are paid via commission by the hotels and operators in our industry. This commission comes out of the hotels' margin.

Is it more expensive to book a trip using a travel agent?
No. Aside from the initial fee, which covers the time I spend to create your trip, it does not cost more to book a hotel through an agent than through the hotel website. The hotels pay that same commission to OTAs (like Expedia), so it does not cost more to use a travel agent than to book online by yourself.

What is a general budget guideline?
A full-service trip with five star hotels, guides every day, activities, and some meals typically runs between $800-$1,000 per person, per day. We can pull some levers - such as a mix between 5 and 4 star hotels, free days with no activities, self-drive vs driver and guide in some locations - in order to lower that range a bit. Certain destinations like Japan and Africa are expensive, where others such as Cambodia, Bali, or Myanmar are easier to work with lower budgets.

Why should you use a travel agent?
As part of the Virtuoso network and Four Seasons Preferred, I can secure perks for your bookings such as free breakfast, late checkout, or spa credits, depending on the property.
Plus, I have a wealth of knowledge and great connections all over the world, so I can save you time and build you an incredible experience!

Do I book flights?
I do not book international airfare to get you to and from you trip. If small flights are required within an itinerary, such as flights between camps in Africa, I will book those for you.
