Hanoi
Begin your journey with visit to the charming city of Hanoi in Northern Vietnam. Hanoi was once a French colony, and the architecture surrounding the city reflects that past.
Stay in the famous Sofitel Metropole hotel, home to one of the best spas in Southeast Asia and a world-famous bar frequented by press correspondents during the Vietnam War.
Visit the Hoa Lao prison, aka "the Hanoi Hilton," where John McCain was held captive. Tour the ancient temples of the city, and learn about the unique history of the country.

Ha Long Bay
Journey north to embark on a traditional Vietnamese "Junk" boat cruise through Ha Long Bay. Sail peacefully past limestone karst formations, visit a floating fishing village, kayak through the tranquil waters.

Hoi An
Fly south to the middle of Vietnam and the charming beach town of Hoi An. US soldiers were stationed at Da Nang. Just south of Da Nang is a trading port where you can see the influence of Japanese, Chinese, and many other countries that did business in Hoi An.
Stay at the Four Seasons Nam Hai in a villa right on the beach. Spend your afternoons swimming in the stunning infinity pool, the size of a football field.

Bicycle through rice paddies and perhaps try your hand at riding an ox.

Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City
For those interested in Vietnam War history, continue south to Ho Chi Minh City. Here you will visit the War Crimes Museum, and take a day trip into the swamps of the Mekong Delta.
